Kentucky - Update: Authorities issue curfew following natural
disaster declaration in Mayfield
Authorities have issued a curfew order in Mayfield, Kentucky after a
suspected tornado prompted a natural disaster declaration in the city. The
curfew began at 19:00 local time. All individuals, excluding emergency
responders, are not permitted to be in the area after dark. Suspected tornado
damage has also recently been reported in the towns of Gilbertsville and
Briensburg in Kentucky.

토네이도로 인해 80명 이상이 사망하였으며, 켄터키 주 에서만 5만명 이상의 이재민이 발생했고 기반 시설의 파괴로 전기와 물, 생활 필수품 공급이 되고 있지 않습니다. 미 연방재난관리청은 추가적인 토네이도 발생이 예상되는 것을 발표했으며
추가적인 피해 방지 및 치안 유지, 원활한 구조 호라동을 위해 켄터키 주 내에 일몰시간 후 통행을 금지하는 제한령을 발령했습니다.
