US government orders departure of non-emergency government employees and families amid continued unrest

The United States State Department has ordered the departure of all non-emergency US government employees and their families from Myanmar amid continued unrest following the military coup. Hundreds of demonstrators have been killed by security forces across multiple cities in the country since the 1 February coup.
