Baiji in the Saladin Governorate
At least five people have been injured during an improvised explosive
device (IED) explosion in Baiji in the Saladin Governorate of Iraq. The
explosion took place after a group of Iraqi security personnel attempted to
defuse an IED planted by members of the Islamic State terrorist group. Images
taken from the scene of the incident show a heavily damaged vehicle and
several bodies. No further information is available at this time.
