Incident description: Anti-coup activists could hold further demonstrations nationwide following a court verdict for former State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi Dec. 6. The former leader faces multiple charges, including violation of the official secrets act, corruption, and electoral fraud, among others. Although daily protests have been ongoing nationwide since the coup in February, a guilty verdict or harsh sentence for Aung San Suu Kyi will probably galvanize the protest movement and trigger unrest over the coming weeks. The largest gatherings will likely occur in Yangon, Mandalay, and Naypyidaw; sizable rallies are also likely in other major cities, such as Bago, Dawei, Monywa, Myeik, Myitkyina, Sittwe, and Taunggyi. Possible demonstration sites include government buildings and prominent intersections, monuments, and parks. Hundreds to thousands of people could participate in any action

상황 설명: 12/6 Aung San Suu Kyi 여사의 재판 결과에 따라 반 군부 단체의 시위가 진행될 수 있다는 보고 입니다.
아웅산 수치 여사는 부패, 부정선거, 보안법 위반 등 많은 혐의를 받고 있으며 이 혐의들이 유죄로 판결되는 경우 지난 2월에 발생한 쿠테타 이후 지속적으로 발생해온 반 쿠테타, 반 군부 단체들의 시위가 사회불안을 조장할 정도로 과격해 질 수도 있다는 분석입니다.
 Yanggon 시와 Mandalay, Naypyidaw 같은 주요 도시에서는 대규모 집회가 열릴 것이며, 정부 청사, 주요 통행로, 공원 등에서 시위가 진행되면 군부에서는 진압, 통행제한 등의 제한을 시행할 것으로 보입니다.  
 아직까지 미얀마 북부에서 활동중인 군부 저항세력들과의 무력 충돌을 빌미로 테러 위험, 치안 유지 등을 근거로 하여 과격 진압이 이루어지거나 실제 저항세력들이 시위 틈을 타 무력 항쟁을 진행할 수도 있기 때문에 각별한 주의가 필요한 상황입니다.
 가급적 시위 발생 가능성이 높은 지역이나, 인구 밀집 지역에 방문하시는 걸 피하시길 바랍니다.
