Multiple killed in CODECO attack in Scrierie Landa, Ituri
Local media reports that at least 16 have been killed in an attack
committed by the Congo Economic Development Cooperative (CODECO) in the
village of Scierrie Landa in Ituri province. Reports state that CODECO forces
deliberately attacked an area not garrisoned by military forces. The DRC
military intends to deploy reinforcements to the area in response.
