Deadly shooting incident reported at polling station in Santo Domingo

Security sources indicate that a political leader has been killed in a shooting at a polling station in the Las Canitas area of Santo Domingo. Several other people were wounded in the incident, which took place outside the Nuestra Senora del Carmen Polytechnic. An investigation has been launched by local police.
