On Wednesday, January 25th, 2012, ASSIST-CARD U.S.A. had the pleasure of welcoming to their office Mr. Maurice R. Greenberg, Chairman & CEO of Starr Companies, and five of its top executives: Howard Smith, Vice Chairman, Finance C.V. Starr & Co.; Bertil Lundqvist, Director, General Counsel & Exec. VP; Ed Navarro, Head of International Insurance Operations; Mike Castelli, CFO; and Leilani Brown, CMO.
The prominent visitors were given a tour of our office and after the introduction to the staff, they gathered for a meeting with part of our ASSIST-CARD executive team: Alexia Keglevich, CEO, Atilio O. Cadreche, Director of ACI, Maximiliano Huss, Business Development Director of ACI, Mauricio Valacco, Director of Quality Control of ACI, Jason Schreier, VP of Sales & Marketing of AC USA, René Serphos, VP of Finance & Administration of AC USA , Carlos Esnal, Sales Director of AC USA, and Dr. Guillermo Giambini, Medical Reviewer of AC USA. Among the many topics discussed was the strategic plan for ASSIST-CARD and Starr Companies to jointly make a strong global impact in 2012.
After this productive meeting, the whole team had cocktails aboard the “Serendipity II”, Mr. Greenberg’s spectacular yacht docked at the Miami Beach Marina. Nicolas Keglevich was there as a special guest. Later on, the entire group enjoyed a delicious dinner where new personal relationships started to develop. Mr. Greenberg and Mr. Keglevich, who share the passion for business and sailing, had the opportunity to spend a very special and warm moment with their families.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of those that helped to make this “Welcome” as warm as possible. While ASSIST-CARD grows the world over, we look forward to many more visits and upcoming events to announce.
