Military junta
announces property seizures of those deemed cooperating with rebel groups
The military junta that governs Myanmar has announced that any property
owner who houses anti-regime rebels will have their assets seized. Property
owners are also now mandated to report any rebel activity or they will be
considered accomplices. The junta has cited recent attacks against troops in
